Your Mission:

Sailes is currently seeking an energetic, self-directed, and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and serve as a partner to the company’s CFO and Chief of Staff. This individual will be involved in all accounting functions for the Company, with key competencies including the following:

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and entries in Quickbooks Online
  • Prepare and review staff payroll, including insurance deductions and commissions
  • Coordinate tax payments with proper taxing agencies
  • Maintain supporting Balance Sheet schedules, such as Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, etc.
  • Complete the full cycle duties for A/R and A/P
  • Reconcile accounting entries with operational data
  • Continuously identify best practices and opportunities to further improve our accounting processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, accounting, finance, or similar.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Bookkeeper or Accounting experience.
  • Great organizational, problem-solving, multitasking, and planning skills.
  • Extremely high attention to detail balanced with a sense of urgency.
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Quickbooks
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects at the same time.
  • Desire to be a continuous learner and challenge the status quo.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
