FinQuery is looking for an Integrations Engineer to join our Engineering team. We’re seeking someone with a passion for improvement; both in our processes and in yourself. We work in an Agile environment with development teams utilizing Scrum and Kanban. In this role, you will support configuration, integration, and testing of integrations deployed at FinQuery, that utilizes our integration platform, FinQuery Connect. If you are a leader, problem solver, collaborator, and someone who enjoys providing excellent service to customers, we would love you to join and help us continue our growth. This role will play a key role in operationalizing our integration platform for the benefit of customers.
FinQuery's headquarters is located in Atlanta, GA, but this role can sit 100% remote.
What you will be doing:
- Handle configurations in our integration platform to establish data connectivity with client’s existing ERP systems
- Integrate with different system types – SaaS, Enterprise ERPs, and other legacy systems.
- Hands on development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on premise using FinQuery’s integration platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration and Enterprise web services APIs)
- Contribute positively and proactively to projects and gain functional knowledge which in turn will facilitate the integration process.
- Help create / maintain work guides for integration engineers by integration type
- Work with clients and management to define and document business requirements to set up web services connections, APIs and/or comparable solutions
What skills and experience we need you to have:
- 2+ years of relevant experience across software development, professional services, solution engineering, technical consulting; with expertise in architecting, supporting and/or rolling out new technology and solution initiatives
- 1+ year of software development (Java preferred)
- 1+ year of Boomi experience (preferred)
- Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, Support and Product Management)
- Effective customer-facing relationship building skills. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customer is a plus
- Accounting or financial services industry experience a plus
- An attitude of success defined in team accomplishments
