A SaaS Ops Client Consultant is an instrumental role that enables FinQuery to achieve its mission to provide best-in-class service and support to its customers. Specifically, a SaaS Ops Client Consultant works with clients who have purchased FinQuery’s SaaS Spend Management product and ensures that they are able to efficiently integrate, utilize and recognize full value from the tool. This role requires an ability to understand technical software utilization trends and to formulate and communicate a clear plan to clients so that they can reduce their software costs and achieve greater efficiency within their tech stack. The SaaS Ops Client Consultant will become the primary point of contact between FinQuery and the customer.

What you will be doing:

  • You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers’ FinQuery Software Management (FSM) environments operationally healthy and resilient. The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from FSM.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data points within their FSM environment to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization. Hold regular meetings and calls to communicate updates, information, concerns and opportunities in the platform based on your analysis to maximize ROI
  • Own customer relationships as the primary point of contact for customers during onboarding and post-graduation – building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives and requirements to success
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on how we can address specific pain points for customers and contribute to their success
  • Manage customer interactions to ensure all platform activities and maintenance are followed-through in a timely manner and meets or exceed customer expectations
  • Capture and anticipate customer needs, changes, and scope of objectives identified during the initial delivery and ongoing support within the platform
  • Post-onboarding, run regularly scheduled meetings with customers to provide insights into their SaaS management portfolio on topics such as: software spend, software license utilization and upcoming contract renewals
  • Communicating across multiple teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of fast paced, complex projects
  • Conduct all business in accordance with FinQuery policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

What experience and skills we need you to have:

  • 4-year degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 4 years experience working in SaaS industry roles focused on execution of client objectives and goals
  • 2 to 4 years of customer facing experience, including the ability to speak to senior executives within a customer’s business
  • General understanding of SaaS technical stacks and what popular applications do for their customers
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities and working independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Proficient with Salesforce, MS Office, and G-Suite
