Autonomous AI Prospecting that Multiplies Elite Sales Teams

Founded: 2020

Investment :Valor led seed round in 2022

Sector: B2B SaaS, sales tech, artificial intelligence

Why Valor Invested

Sales prospecting remains one of the most labor-intensive, error-prone, and under-automated functions in enterprise revenue teams. While countless tools promise efficiency, most simply add dashboards, alerts, and busywork—leaving sales leaders with more noise, not more pipeline.

Valor led the seed round in Sailes because the company took a fundamentally different approach: true autonomous digital labor, purpose-built for enterprise sales. Saile is not an AI “assistant.” It is an AI-native system that performs the full prospecting lifecycle end-to-end—at scale, continuously, and measurably.

When we met the company, Sailes had already been bootstrapped to $600K in ARR, with early Fortune 500 traction and a product doing what most AI sales tools only claim to do: actually replace manual prospecting work. That combination of founder-market fit, technical depth, and provable ROI made Sailes a high conviction investment for Valor.

What Saile Does

Sailes is an AI sales autopilot that automates enterprise prospecting from discovery through delivery of actionable opportunities.

At the core of the platform are Sailebots®—personalized, autonomous AI sellers that work on behalf of each sales representative. These AI agents continuously source, enrich, engage, and qualify prospects based on parameters defined by the sales team, including industry, role, geography, keywords, and buying signals.

Each Sailebot:

  • Researches companies and decision-makers

  • Cleans and enriches data

  • Generates personalized outreach

  • Executes follow-ups across channels

  • Proposes and schedules meetings

  • Captures objections and engagement signals

  • Hands off qualified opportunities to human sellers

Sailebots learn on the job, compounding their effectiveness over time and adapting to each rep’s unique sales motion. On average:

  • A single Sailebot saves 1,920 hours of labor per month

  • Produces 16× the output of a human SDR

  • Replaces six or more prospecting tools with one platform

Saile calls this Digital Labor™—autonomous work that scales revenue without adding headcount.

Momentum Since Valor’s Investment

Since Valor led the seed round, Saile’s momentum has accelerated across customers, product, and market recognition, and they raised a Series A at a significant mark up.

  • Enterprise adoption: Early Fortune 500 customers include Schneider Electric, NCR, LPL Financial, Staples, JLL, and Audacy.

  • Industry validation: KPMG identified Saile as the most advanced offering defining the future of sales prospecting.

  • Product velocity: The team has shipped major platform enhancements, including autonomous objection intelligence, influenced-deal attribution, digital labor ROI reporting, enterprise SSO, native inbox sending, and unified engagement analytics.

  • Customer proof: Saile earned G2’s Best Software Award as a Fastest Growing Technology—placing it in the top ~1% of products globally based on verified customer outcomes, not marketing claims.

This traction reinforces our original thesis: autonomous prospecting is no longer theoretical—it is outperforming traditional methods in live enterprise environments.

Founders Built for This Moment

Sailes was founded by Nick Smith and Clive Cadogan, a team with deep, firsthand experience in the pain they set out to eliminate.

Nick spent his career in senior enterprise sales roles at companies including iHeartRadio and CBS, living the inefficiencies of manual prospecting. Clive brought deep AI and machine-learning experience from scaling technology organizations, including Udacity. Together, they set out to automate—not assist—the most repetitive and time-consuming work in sales.

Their insight was simple and powerful: if companies wish they had three more of their best salesperson, AI should multiply that person—not replace them.

Valor’s Role

Valor partnered with Sailes at the moment the company was ready to scale. Beyond leading the seed round, Valor has worked closely with the founders on enterprise sales focus, go-to-market discipline, and operational scaling. Valor partner Jean‑Luc van Hulst joined the board, bringing deep experience scaling global software teams and applied AI systems.

Sailes is redefining what AI looks like in professional sales—not as hype, not as surface-level automation, but as measurable digital labor that expands capacity, sharpens focus, and drives revenue.

For Valor, Sailes represents the future of B2B software: AI-native, outcome-driven, and designed to multiply human excellence rather than bury it under tools.
