Your Mission:

As the Head of Growth Marketing, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the digital marketing strategy and leading tactical operations to drive the Sailes brand, increase sales opportunities, and attributing success to both. As the marketing leader at Sailes, the Head of Growth Marketing will lead the development, creation, and deployment of strategies that create a broad and deep brand awareness, as well as generate digital leads, attract, engage, and convert potential prospects.

  • Strategy: Design and execute demand generation strategies, generating high quality opportunities for our Sales team.
  • Collaboration: Cross-team collaborate with sales and product teams to align demand generation efforts with market needs and sales objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to target audience engagement.
  • Relationship Management: Manage marketing agency relationships, setting agency strategy with clear expectations for performance.
  • Optimization: Optimize the digital marketing budget by allocating to the channels that drive maximum impact
  • Leadership: Recruit, grow, and manage a world class marketing team
  • Budget Management: Conduct regular budget reviews and adjust based on campaign performance and market dynamics. Establish clear ROI targets for all marketing activities and implement forecasting to guide budgeting decisions.
  • Paid Media Expertise: Possess deep expertise in the nuances of various paid media channels, including but not limited to Google Ads, LinkedIn, affiliate marketing, and programmatic display.
  • Reporting: Develop reports and communicate internally to stakeholders on progress and results, support project management, and advocate for the new customer experience
  • Campaign Expertise: Advise and consult on brand advertising campaigns while tracking and attributing success to the same methodologies as demand generation efforts


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years digital marketing & demand generation experience
  • Proven leadership experience as a Director, Sr. Director or VP of Growth marketing at a high-growth, software startup (preferably throughout multiple company phases).
  • Expert in end-to-end inbound marketing, including the role of content, e-mail, SEO, paid media, and lifecycle stage optimization tactics
  • Demonstrated success in influencing company revenue growth.
  • Working knowledge of key SMB and Mid-market marketing channels, including email marketing, SEO, social media, direct mail, print, and live events with subject matter expertise in four or more of these channels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical prospects.
  • Experience with for a Cloud or SaaS business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
